I recently caught up with David LaMarche, Conductor of American Ballet Theatre, to interview him about the 2018 Spring Season ballet scores and upcoming performances. We met at Temerario, a fantastic new Mexican restaurant in Chelsea, and we were greeted and attended to by Ricardo, Temerario's warm Manager. David ordered the Traditional Margarita, and I enjoyed my Rum Infused Cocktail. For appetizers we shared Temerario's renowned Table Guacamole with Queso Fresco & Corn Chips. Erica, on the wait staff, was a vibrant and helpful server. David ordered a Chicken Quesadilla with Corn Tortillas, Chihuahua Cheese, Mushrooms, and Salsa Verde. It was gorgeous, and he loved it. I ordered a Taquitos de Atun, with Raw Tuna, Habanero, Yuzu, Sweet Onions, Radish, and Avocado. This too was superb, and I loved it. We shared, as well, a side of Fried Plaintains, with Queso Fresco and Salsa Verde.

On another visit to Temerario, during Christmas and New Year's week, I arrived for Happy Hour, and the restaurant was festively decorated with Holiday décor. On that visit, I was attended to by Kriste, bartender, and Carolina, wait staff, when I thoroughly enjoyed a White Wine and Quesadilla de Hongos, with Corn Tortilla, Chihuahua Cheese, Mushrooms, Epazote, and Salsa. Temerario, and its sister restaurant, Lamano, a top quality destination for Spanish tapas, are buzzing nightly with the culinary aficionados of Chelsea and beyond. Stop by Temerario, and Lamano next door, and tell them you saw them on RobertaOnTheArts.com!
