The Jorge Guzmán group, with Chef Mario Hernandez and Manager Ricardo Palafox, recently debuted two outstanding dining destinations in Chelsea. Temerario, for contemporary, urban Mexican cuisine, and Lamano, for wine, tapas, and dishes with Spanish flair, stand back to back at the corner of Eighth Avenue and 20th Street, near Atlantic Theater Company, the Joyce Theater for modern dance and ballet, and the headquarters of American Ballet Theatre and its Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis School for ballet. Temerario and Lamano are in the heart of Chelsea, where actors, musicians, dancers, choreographers, stage technicians, designers, and visual artists make their homes. Now, the Chelsea community has the most fashionable holiday décor, with hanging red bulbs at Temerario and bright wall décor at Lamano, to enhance the cocktails, fine wines, tacos, and tapas. Chef Mario and Manager Ricardo maneuver between restaurants, with their adjoining paths, in quasi-choreography, as they attend to every detail of every guest’s order. All ingredients are prime, fresh, natural, and thrilling in authentic Mexican and Spanish tasting palettes.

Be sure to stop by Temerario and Lamano, enjoy their festive holiday décor and cuisine, and ask for Chef Mario or Manager Ricardo. Tell them you saw them on RobertaOnTheArts.com!
