On a chilly, but clear, winter Sunday afternoon, Jason Ano, photographer and webmaster of RobertaOnTheArts.com, cruised around Manhattan Island, aboard the Circle Line for three hours, taking marvelous photos of bridges, the Hudson and East Rivers, and listening to a versatile and knowledgeable Captain relate New York stories and history to his guests. Jason took one photo of the big "C", which is for Columbia University's location for its rowboat team.
Jason said that light refreshments, beer, and champagne were served on the boat, with most of the tourists, who were European, speaking Italian and French. Many had professional camcorders, and they were pretty excited about seeing all the sights in New York City. Jason found the day really sunny, with not a lot of wind, which mainly picked up as they cruised toward the northern side of Manhattan.
