For the annual July 4 Macy's Fireworks, a must-see New York tradition, I chose an exciting event at Hudson Terrace, which has sweeping views of the Hudson River and an expansive open roof. They had a two-floor party and buffet, live DJ, and open bar, and this venue was totally packed with party-goers enjoying a dining, dancing, and dynamically planned experience. The buffet of hot and cold dishes, served by event staff, included grilled shrimp kabobs, salads, and roast chicken. The bartenders were warm and attentive. When the Macy's Fireworks were about to begin, I walked outside for an open view on the Hudson, then returned for the After-Party.
Hudson Terrace lists weekly events on its website, like Sunsets on the Hudson, Wine Down Wednesdays, and a Beer and BBQ Festival. This is an all-weather venue, as the roof is retractable and transparent. They also book private events, like weddings, anniversaries, or celebrations for any reason. I hope to return to Hudson Terrace soon for a special event and to experience the up-close views of the Hudson River.
