Tonight’s “Jazz in the Sky”, indoors on a windy, but warm autumn evening, was romantic and evocative, with Tito Castro on bandoneón and Pancho Navarro on guitar. The duo presented some of the most exquisite tangos ever written, as well as the more rapid "milongas" and "vals". These are seasoned musicians, and the views on this clear but windy evening brought in NYC bridges and rivers, in the midst of a trip to Buenos Aires. Tito and Pancho are both native Argentineans. Both musicians perform in the Argentine Tango scene for dance and concerts.

The event menu at Terrace in the Sky includes a delicious, three-course dinner at “Jazz in the Sky” pricing, with wine or cocktail. Indoors at Terrace in the Sky, we had exquisite, wraparound views of the New York skyline and beyond. Guests could stay late, order a cognac, and absorb the scintillating ambiance. Call Terrace in the Sky at 212.666.9490 to reserve a good seat or table. Tell them you saw them on RobertaOnTheArts.com.
